Since the winter semester 2009/2010, the "Schwerpunktbereichsstudium" in IT Law and Intellectual Property Law has been offered at the Faculty of Law with the participation of the Institute for Legal Informatics, building on the highly popular former specialization, "IT Law". Students in this specialization deal with future-oriented questions with regard to IT and intellectual property law, while at the same time acquiring sound knowledge in copyright, patent and trademark law.
Note
The "Schwerpunktbereichsprüfung" (literally: focal area examination) is a part of the state examination and is only of interest to students who wish to take the state examination.
